You're looking at Diablo
Dry Lake Bed - a crusty salt flat puckered here and there with sink
holes. High speeds are possible here, but caution must be exercised.
In summer, you're going to want to keep your distance from the rider
in front to avoid the dust. We stop here for photo-opportunities
(see The Gallery) and a breather before we hit the San Felipe sand
